Well...this should be my last plushie for some while now... ...another one I always wanted to have, but never got the chance of getting something like that. Let my introduce, my favourite video game character of all: Yoshi
In his classic style, like I got to know him when I was a really little girl in the first half and middle of the 90s. I still love this style on Yoshi and always wanted to have a plushie of this look he had in Mario World (and the almost the whole SNES era). He's all hand-sewn (like all of my plushies) with really soft fabric (ok, I'm officially running out of filling and fabric now!!!) and he's the biggest toy I've ever sewed with over 50cm! Bigger than my cat...He has some wiring inside, so you can pose him. Only his eyes are drawn, the mouth and nose is stitched. I didn't use any inspiration from my other two original Yoshi plushies, because I wanted to do my own thing. I hope you can see that.
Yoshi's not for sale and one of a kind, because I never make any patterns for my plushies.
He is one of the best Yoshi plushes I have ever seen. I absolutely love how close to the original image he is, and how he is so detailed. You are incredibly talented, and I really wish you made more than one - I'd buy him no matter the price.
wow thanks for the compliment! To be honest, I'm not so satisfied with him, as his legs are a bit too thin and I could have done better with his eyes. But I haven't done so many plushies so far and maybe I can improve. I think my best plushie in my opinion is my Earthworm Jim. Well, I don't have any patterns I just cut out the fabric and started without thinking...
Yes, it's a pic I've taken from one of my old Club Nintendo magazines from a comic with Mario riding Yoshi and Speed Limits. I am German and still have lots of magazines from that time. This was my referrence pic (the whole comic)
